What is this all about?
Any one individual can purchase as many pixels as they like, as
long as they are available. Having purchased some pixels, you can
display an image/ad/logo of your choice in that space. You can also
have the image link through to your own web site.
The
pixels you buy will stay on the home page permanently for five years.
Totally Jewish Pixels guarantee that the site will remain active
for at least five years and hopefully forever.
The
pixels are available in 100 pixel blocks (measuring 10 x 10 pixels).
Essentially,
the Totally Jewish Pixels website is divided into 10,000 of these
100 pixel blocks; equaling 1million in total.
The
idea of selling 10 x 10 pixel blocks is simply due to the fact that
anything smaller would be too small to show anything meaningful.

Where did the idea come from?
This
idea was already on the internet (see Million Dollar Homepage)
therefore Totally Jewish Pixels can take no credit for this.
Although similar sites to this one have been launched on the internet none of them have undertaken such a massive marketing campaign in the Jewish media (see question 9). Totally Jewish Pixels has been created
purely to target a niche market. The Idea is to create a visual
network of Jewish businesses, organizations, professionals, entrepreneurs,
artists and anyone else that wants to get involved all on to
one website

Is this genuine?
This is completely genuine. This is as kosher as you can get. Totally
Jewish Pixels will not accept any payment unless the purchaser is
entirely happy. At £1 per pixel for an advert shown to thousands
of people who wouldn’t be happy. We are providing a unique
central domain whereby Jewish people can advertise and promote their
company within the community.

Why should I buy your pixels?
The reason is simple: You will have an image and a link to your
web site on a home page that will be viewed by thousands of people
within the next five years (potentially forever). Statistics have proved that this is the most cost-effective
form of Internet marketing. In reality you will own a piece of Jewish
Internet history.

Why is it not possible to buy one single pixel?
It is not really practical to display anything meaningful in one
pixel space. If 1 million people purchase 1 million pixels
all that would be seen on the home page is a sea of coloured
dots. Additionally, it would be extremely difficult to click
onto that individual image.

How long will the site be online?
We guarantee that the site will remain active for a minimum of five
years, although it is planned to remain active permanently.

Why are we selling in pounds?
The reason for selling the pixels in Pounds is that Totally Jewish
Pixels is focusing purely on a UK market, whose common currency
is Pound Sterling. There would be no point in charging Dollars
or Euros, as this would deter people from signing up due to
the hassle involved in converting and depositing foreign
currency. However, it is acceptable for a foreign investor
with English business interests to buy pixels.

What sort of press coverage or publicity will this site receive?
Having formed a partnership with Totally PLC (owners of The Jewish News, totallyjewish.com, The Jewish Advocate not to mention the travel, dating and other services.) We now have the capability to target over 250,000 Jewish people.
Our first press article was published in the 3rd of March edition of The Jewish News and there will be subsequent adverts for the next six months in the paper. Additional to this adverts have been placed on the Totally Jewish website in the form of banners etc. Emails have been sent out to our whole database promoting this site, and we are also hoping to put a press advert in the Jewish Advocate (our American paper that targets over 250,000 people).
Lastly, the best form of publicity is word of mouth. Totally Jewish Pixels will also rely on a snowball effect of people in the community talking about it: In Synagogue, in the office, shopping for Shabbat, Sunday morning Jewish football etc. Rest assured this site will be heard of and spoken about by tens of thousands of people within the next couple of months.
